Nazerke Seidan (she/her) is a software engineer with an experience in search. She previously worked at Salesforce, focusing on scaling search in public cloud. An active contributor to the Apache Solr project, Nazerke has a deep interest in Information Retrieval, particularly in Distributed Search. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. During her studies, she interned at Cloudera, where she worked on search, and at CERN, where she explored HDFS storage optimization in Big Data environments.
